He is survived by: his wife Roselyn Caperton of Brentwood, TN; his children, Tracey Caperton Murtha of Brentwood, TN and David Caperton III of Nashville, TN; his grandson Jackson Cole Murtha of Brentwood, TN; and his siblings, Patricia Hunter of Charlotte, TN and Michael Caperton (Karla) of Madison, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
