He is survived by: his sister Lorraine Campbell (Arnold) of Delaware; his children, Charles R. Arnold (Maria) of Hughesville, MD, Joseph H. Arnold (Jennifer) of Burns, TN, Jeffrey A. Arnold (Elizabeth) and Robin Arnold Bell (Steve) of Brentwood, TN.; and his wife Bette Anne.
