It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlene Belle Oakley of Brentwood, Tennessee, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on June 12, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. "Porky" Whalen and Agnes White (Ludden); and her sister Maureen. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Oakley of Massachusetts; her sisters, Christine Childers of Noblesville, Linda Mundee of Standish and Meredith Murray of Sebago; and her children, Jay Gagne and Nicole Pennisi. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
