We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2019, at the age of 94, Cecil E. Ward (Brentwood, Tennessee), born in Lebanon, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Bush Ward; his parents, Cecil E Ward, Sr. and Zella Oakley Ward; and his siblings, Sarah Casey of Nashville, TN and Jack Ward of Tulsa, OK..
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Ward-Smith (Scott) of Franklin, TN; his grandson Hunter Ward Smith of Brooklyn, NY; and his sister Shirley Woodard of Old Hickory, TN. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the Nashville Rose Society or Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
