He was predeceased by: his son Michael Joe Stanley; his parents, L. B. Pomeroy and Nelli Pomeroy; his parents-in-law, Fred A. and Ethel Rich Marshall; his stepfather William Burt Marshall; and his brothers, James Ferrell and Billy Ray Stanley.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rich Stanley; his son Donnie; his daughter-in-law Diane Stanley; his grandsons, Austin (Jennifer) and Ethan Stanley; and his stepbrother Hubert Pomeroy (Joyce). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to BrightStone, 140 Southeast Parkway Ct., Franklin, TN 37064 in the name of Bob Stanley.
