He was predeceased by: his parents, Mark Sloan Williams and Ella Connell Williams; and his siblings, Wallace C. Williams and Martha Williams. He is survived by: his wife Laurale Burrus Williams; his children, Allen C. Williams, Jr. (Paula) of Spartanburg, SC, Laura Swan "Swannee" Sexton (David) of Knoxville, TN, Rachel Burgin (Steve) of Brentwood, TN and Angela Williams of Whites Creek, TN.; his grandchildren, Allen C. Williams III, Ella Kate Meyers (Louis), Julie Dalby (Chris), Walker Burgin (Allison), Daniel Burgin, Laura Burgin and Mark Burgin (Kelley); and his great grandchildren, Emelia, Layla, Paul Henry and Bennett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
