He was predeceased by : his parents, Sam Herrod and Christine Brinkley Herrod; and his brother Charles Herrod. He is survived by : his children, Eric Herrod, Shannon McCree (Dewayne), Amethyst Castro and Samantha Herrod; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jason, Brayden, Michael, Onjinae, Devon, Serenity, Kyler and Marley; and his sisters, Peggy Cobos (Lewis) and Patricia Forst (George) of Bradyville.
