He is survived by: his wife Judy Merriman Goad of Bradyville; his children, Angela Lokey (Rob) of Murfreesboro and Rodney Goad of Mt. Juliet; his siblings, Wayne Goad of Watertown, Dean Goad of Murfreesboro and Ruth Toombs (Henry) of Murfreesboro; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Parker of Murfreesboro and Joan Vickers of Manchester.
