He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hoffman and Maria Breitenlohner Hoffman; his daughter Angelina Diane Whittle Sears; and his sister Wilhemina Deitzen. He is survived by: his wife Alice Bowman Whittle of Bradyville; his son George James Whittle II of Nanticoke, PA; his grandchildren, Parker James Sears of White House, Alex Avery of Nanticoke, PA and Father; his mother-in-law Anita Bowman; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Bowman (Cynthia), Bill Bowman and Pam O'Hara (Michael).
