He is survived by: his children, Helen Ford, Rene Sissom and Greg Sissom; his grandchildren, Jeremy Arnold (Bethany), Nathan Barnett, Casey Rhoten (Shane), Derek Sissom (Marah), Michaela Sissom, Maggie Fortune, Sammy Sissom, Brandi Troyer (Stephen) and Emily Singleton (Bobby); his great grandchildren, Ella, Ethan Arnold, Caleb Jacobs, Cole Rhoten, Mason, Maverick Sissom, James, Memphis Hagler, Luke, Payton Fortune, Aveline, Arolina Troyer, Levi and Lana Singleton; and his siblings, Barney Sissom (Linda), Ed Sissom and Wanda Dailey.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home (504 W Main St, Woodbury, TN 37190). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Gilley Hill Cemetery.
