With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jane Swindell (Bradford, Tennessee), born in Walnut, Mississippi, who passed away on February 25, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Porter Swindell; and her parents, Odell Jones and Emily Jones. She is survived by: her children, Vicky Harper (Randy) of Bradford and Terry Swindell (Betsy) of Jackson; her sister Sue McKee (Charles) of Memphis; her grandchildren, Joe Alexander (Johnna), Dillon Alexander (Molly) and Claire Swindell (Katie); and her great grandchildren, Channing Alexander, Harper Alexander and Heidi Alexander.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hunt Funeral Home Chapel (223 E Main St, Bradford, TN 38316). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Bradford Cemetery.
