He was predeceased by: his father Claude Elmer Montgomery; his wife Patricia Montgomery; his daughter Michelle Shell; and his siblings, Claudene Montgomery, Eugene Montgomery and Ralph Montgomery.
He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Wayne Montgomery of Jackson, Terry Lane Montgomery of Kentucky and Jimmy "BoBo" Montgomery of Jackson; and his siblings, Robbie Lomax of Decaturville and Clifford Montgomery (Pam) of Bradford. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
