With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bettye Jean Reynolds of Bradford, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertie Crouse Thornton and Leslie Homer Thornton; and her grandparent Sylas M. Reynolds. She is survived by: her son Johnny D. Reynolds; her daughter-in-law Jeanie M. Reynolds; her granddaughter Cate Thornton Reynolds; her sister Peggy C. Thornton; her extended family, Wallace Thornton, Laverne Thornton and Carloyn Little; her nieces, Lee Roy Thornton and Rebecca Morgan (Richard Gonzalez); her nephew David Gonzalez (Sherry Gonzalez); and also Clarence R. Reynolds (Bob).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hunt Funeral Home (223 E Main St, Bradford, TN 38316). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Reynolds asked that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, a Christian humanitarian aid organization that supports people in need and missionary work (http://www.samaritianpurse.org).
