He was predeceased by: his parents, Topsy Hunter and Jessie Lee Underwood Newcome; and his brother Dorris Newcome. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Vaughn Newcome; and his children, Steve Newcome (Dorthey), David Newcome (Jan), John Newcome (Jane), Tommy Newcome (Christy) and Teresa Jones (Marc). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren.
