He was predeceased by : his parents, Benton Hunter Baker and Mary Louise Archer Baker; his grandson Christopher Adam Baker; his siblings, Vernon Baker, Roger Baker, Jerry Baker, Esta Holt, Thelma Howlett, Maxine Lockhart and Evelyn Baker; his siblings-in-law, Donna Baker, Zelphia Johnson, Church Howlett, Kenneth Peach, Jack Lockhart and Lloyd Lee Johnson; and his niece Kristi Gaye Peach.
He is survived by : his spouse Jean Baker; his children, Don Baker of Santa Fe, Nancy Baker Sullivan (Roger) of Santa Fe, Larry Baker (Pamela) of Santa Fe and David Baker of Santa Fe; his grandchildren, Jason Baker (Sherri) of Bon Aqua, Amanda Oliver (Josh) of Columbia and Brittany Smithson (Kyle) of Spring Hill; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Baker of Columbia, Acelyn Baker, Hunter Larkins, Lexie Larkins of Bon Aqua, Cannon Oliver and Avie Oliver of Columbia; his sisters, Colleen Hargrove (Tom) and Gaye Baker Peach; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Layman Baker of Blacksburg, VA, Jason Holt (Trisha) of Goose Creek, SC and Alfred Johnson of Springfield.
