He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence "Buck" Welch and Bessie Dee Flowers Welch; and his niece Cassie Crump. He is survived by : his wife Dorothy Buchanan Welch; his sons, Mike Welch (Wanda), Ricky Welch (Carolyn) and Barry Welch (Tabatha); and his sister Myra Crump (Paul). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
