He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Buttrey and Christine Pendergrass Buttrey. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Buttrey of Bon Aqua; his children, Andrea Triplett of Murfreesboro, TN, Frazier Buttrey (Whitney) of Pleasant View, TN and Scott Alberd (Aimee) of Columbia, TN; his siblings, Bruce Buttrey (Beverly) of Pleasant View and Joan Baker (Joe) of Nunnelly; and his grandchildren, Amanda Triplett, Alex Triplett, Evan Buttrey, Lennox Buttrey, Elli Rose Buttrey, Hannah Alberd and Houston Alberd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home (214 N Main St, Dickson, TN 37055). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
