He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter A. Tidwell and Cora Frances Buttrey Tidwell; his wife Bertie Mai Tidwell; his son Frank Allen Tidwell; and his siblings, Rufus Tidwell, Hubert Tidwell, Rosie Williams and Gladys Davidson.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Bro. Stuart Brooks; his children, Jerry Ray Tidwell (Nelda) and Debbie Sue Brooks (Stuart); his brother Clinton Tidwell (Georgia Mai); his grandchildren, Natosha DuCharme, Jessica Wise and Tracie Williams; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Kalie, Beth, Michael, Ashley, Kayla and Shukonia; and his great great grandchildren, Xavier, Jaxon, Brooklyn, Trent, McKinlee, Gavin, Gemma, Skylar, Cooper and Joseph. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
