He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Eugene and Cornelia "Tene" Larkins Sharp; and his siblings, Martha Jean Harper, Callie "Billie" Reding, Richard Sharp, Wayne Sharp and Ronnie Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Jo Brockett of Nashville; and his brother Steve Sharp.
