He was predeceased by : his parents, Freddy Monroe and Verda Hutchinson Dodson; and his son David Lee Dodson. He is survived by : his wife Betty Jean Burton Dodson of Bon Aqua; his nephew Robert Davis of North Carolina; and his adoptive father Danny (Alice Cochran).
