She was predeceased by: her parent Lou Bell Myatt Buchanan; her father-in-law Rufus Penick Buchanan; her father Rufus Buchanan; her husband Needham Welch; and her siblings, Evelyn, Buck, Donald and Curly.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Welch (Wanda), Ricky Welch (Carolyn) and Barry Welch (Tabatha). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
