He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Allen Tidwell and Cora Frances Buttrey Tidwell; his son Christopher Tidwell; and his siblings, Rosie, Rufus, Gladys, Houston and Hubert.
He is survived by : his wife Georgia Mae Mangrum Tidwell; and his children, Eddie (Linda), Timothy, Henry Tidwell (Rebekah) and Lisa Martin. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
