He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frankie Pewitt of Bon Aqua; his sons, Hardan Pewitt (Tammy) of Bon Aqua and Edward Pewitt of Springfield; his brother Leland Pewitt (Nellie) of Fairview; his granddaughters, Amanda Pewitt, Denice Pewitt and Grace Pewitt; his great great grandchild Trinity Pewitt; his parents, Clark Pewitt and Dora Alice Pewitt (Anglin); his brothers, Reese Pewitt, Delmore Pewitt, Raleigh Pewitt and James L. C. Pewitt; his granddaughter Tabitha Pewitt; and his sisters, Janie Pewit Craft, Gurtrude Pewitt Craft, Bessie Lew Pewitt, Inez Pewitt Stinson and Corene Pewitt Mangrum.
