It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carter Pendergrass of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Campbell and Nellie Irene Pendergrass; his wife Evelyn Elizabeth; his daughter Nikki Armstrong; and his siblings, Carroll Henry, Anthony Wayne, Gerald Delano Pendergrass and Neva Christine Buttrey.
He is survived by: his stepmother Rachel Sullivan Pendergrass; his son David Carter Pendergrass Jr. (Teresa Pendergrass) of Bon Aqua; his grandchildren, Rachel Armstrong of Michigan, Terry Walker (Nikki) of Windemere, FL and David Walker Jr. (Jesse) of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Trinity, Braxton, Sophie and Gracie Walker; and his brother Thomas Henry Sullivan.
The family is asking that memorial contributions be made to New Hope Cemetery c/o the New Hope Baptist Church in Bon Aqua, TN.
