He is survived by: his children, Brian Buttrey (Ginger) of Centerville, Tennessee, Tinisha Weigelt (Matthew) of Roanoke, Indiana and Samantha Dansby (Chris) of Columbia, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Janelle Buttrey, Zaniya Dansby, James-Lawrence Weigelt, Isaac Weigelt, Maya Buttrey and Halle Buttrey; his great grandchild Ja'Naya Buttrey; and his siblings, Phyllis Buttrey, Debbie Castillo, Jason Buttrey (Sun) and Damon Buttrey.
