William Robert Cossar Jr. Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Cossar Jr. of Bolivar, Tennessee, who passed away on December 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert, Sr. and Grace Maddox Cossar; and his sisters, Shirley Ann Williams of Bolivar and Betty Lou Jacobs of Bolivar. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Marie Vickers; his children, Debbie Cole of Bolivar, Melissa Dawn Hamberger (Martin) of Geneva, Switzerland and William Robert "Billy" Cossar, III (Sharon) of Bolivar; his grandchildren, Chris Deming (Jamie), Brittany Deming, Jack Hamberger, Blane Cossar (Tahanna) and Austin Cossar; and his great grandchildren, Abram, Eli Deming, Liam, Lexi Helton, Savannah Lee, Kiley Collins, Tansley and Taylon Cossar.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Bolivar (109 Mecklinburg Dr, Bolivar, TN 38008). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bolivar Memorial Cemetery (401 Orange St, Bolivar, TN 38008).
