He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Marcum and Helen Sybill Doyle Marcum. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Marcum Richardson, Roger of Jackson, Carrie Marcum of Saulsbury, Chris Marcum and Joseph Marcum of Middleton; his siblings, Donna Benard of Brownsville and James "Butch" Marcum (Marilyn); and his grandchildren, Nicholas Boone, Elizabeth McGaha, Desta, Tyler, Waylon, Carter, Knox Marcum and Newt Thigpen. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
