He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold D. Barstow and Genevieve Casterline Barstow; and his sister Eleanor Norwood. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Barstow of Whiteville; his children, Gary Wayne Barstow of Wickenburg and Starla Kay Barstow of Alturas, California.; his sisters, Elaine Boucher of Fountain Hills and Marilyn Jane Wiley of Silver City; his granddaughters, Amanda Nicole Barber and Genevieve Ellen Walton; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Sophia and John Edwin Barber.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in his name be sent to Whiteville First Baptist Church.
