He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Howell and Eva Freeman Howell; his siblings, Tommy and Patricia Mae Howell; and his grandparents, James N., Adeline Lowe Freeman, William Everette and Lillie Gertrude Sisco Howell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Marilyn Howell (Joe) of Middleton, William G. Howell and Danny Howell (Barbara) of Palatine, IL.; and his nieces and nephews, Chris Burns (Jennifer), Bryon Burns (Elizabeth), Desi Ball (Joe), Tabi King Fisher (J. C.), Joe Howell, III, Maria Howell and Kayla Howell. He is also survived by twelve great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Brints Chapel Baptist Church (3260 Brints Chapel Ln, Middleton, TN 38052). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at the Brints Chapel Cemetery (3260 Brints Chapel Ln, Middleton, TN 38052). A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Brints Chapel Baptist Church (3260 Brints Chapel Ln, Middleton, TN 38052).
