He was predeceased by: his parents, Autry Carroll and Dorothy Fay Carroll; his in-laws, Isaac and Bonnie Cross; his daughter Michelle LaCroix; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Smith, Bruce Cross, Bert Kay, Ann Sammons and Joyce Kay.
He is survived by: his grandson Austin Cossar; his wife Sandra Cross Carroll; his daughter Sharon Renee Cossar (Billy) of Bolivar; his sister Karen Carroll Dixs of Corinth, MS; his cousin Bobby Cunningham of Morris Chapel, TN; and his son Larry Gene Carroll (Tammy) of Stantonville.
Born on October 31, 1947, in the small town of Michie, Tennessee, Gawaine's life was a tapestry woven from love, camaraderie, and heartfelt contributions to those around him.
