He is survived by: his mother Bertie Hipp Carter of Newbern, TN; his wife Beverly Reasons Pilkenton of Bogota, TN; his sons, Michael Lane Pilkenton of Bogota, TN and Hunter Blake Pilkenton of Bogota, TN; and his pet Yellow.
