She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Slaughter; her son Jewell Edward Crum; her grandsons, Danny Crum and Robert Charlie Slaughter; and her great grandchild Kodey E..

She is survived by: her son Danny Eugene Slaughter (Ruby) of Ridgely; and her grandchildren, Steven Slaughter (Jessica) of Bogota and Mitzi Gibson of Dyersburg. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
