He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Grandville and Donnie Mae Conder Garner; his wife Janice M. Boswell Garner; and his siblings, Margie Bryant, Alma Thurmond, Harold Garner, Donald Garner, Floyd Garner, Hershel Garner and Lawrence Garner.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Garner Nightwine (Terry) of Rossville; his sister Martha Sue Crews of Dyersburg; his grandchildren, Trish Jones (Jeremiah) of Atoka and Heather Sluder (Jake) of Arlington; and his great grandchildren, Kaylee Allen, Tristan Jones, Tyler Jones, Jordan Sluder and Tanner Jones.
The family requests memorials be directed to Bogota Baptist Church.
