He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Dollar and Vicie Eldridge Dollar; his wife Ellen Geraldine "Gerry" Gross; and his brothers, Ralph Dollar, Delmar Dollar and Eugene Dollar.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Hardin (Gary) of Bluff City, Loretta Smith (Scott) of Kingsport and David Dollar (Katie) of Piney Flats; his grandchildren, Justine Cioffe (Zane), Kayana Hardin, Shay Hardin, Tyler Smith, Alisha Smith, Andrew Dollar and Nadya Dollar; his great grandchildren, Luna Cioffe and Emmaline Cioffe; and his siblings, Irene Bishop (Ed), Sue Miller (Jerry), Norman Dollar (Christine), Walter Dollar, Gerald Dollar (Debbie) and John Dollar (Phyllis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
