She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard Curtis and Rowie Day Curtis; her husband James Walter Goodman; and her son Donald Goodman. She is survived by: her children, David Goodman (Brenda) of Bluff City and Fran Guinn of Bluff City; her grandchildren, Mark Guinn (Rachel) of Bluff City, Kevin Guinn (Rhonda) of Bluff City, Daniel Guinn (Allison) of Kingsport and Jamie Watts of Bluff City; and her great grandchildren, Noah Watts of Bluff City, Kylee Watts of Bluff City, Cooper Guinn of Kingsport and Danni Guinn of Kingsport.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to Walnut Grove Baptist Church, 468 Walnut Grove Rd., Bluff City, TN 37618.

“Frances and David I am sorry to hear of your mother's passing. She was a real trooper. Work was never her fear nor was giving of her time to others. Never does a child forget when someone is good to them and I have vivid memories of very nice homeroom parties in elementary school thanks to your mom. You were very blessed to have a caring mother. Knowing her eternity home will be with Jesus certainly will give us comfort. Wepray that God will grant you peace and strengthened faith at this time.”
