With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mayme Sue Hicks (Bluff City, Tennessee), born in Blountville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 6, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mayme Sue shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mayme Sue farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church (1727 Chinquapin Grove Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Tennessee Cemetery (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church or to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital in memory of Sue.
