She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Slaughter and Nellie Waters Slaughter; her husband George Black Jr.; her children, George "Larry" Black, II, Charles Black, Diana Black, Victoria Rumley and Denise Black; and her grandchildren, James Rumley, Dericka Black, Autumn Black, Ricky Black and Stevie Hicks. She was also cherished by five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
