She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Everett Caudill and Louise Coulter Caudill. She is survived by: her husband David "Bobby" Thompson; her daughters, Amanda Lane (Johnny) and Brittany Thompson (Jerry Frank); her grandsons, Colby Lane, Tyler Lane, Jacob Lane and L. J. Frank; her sisters, Jackie Minton (Kevin) and Linda Turner (Jeff); and her sisters-in-law, Jackie Burnette (Jeff) and Linda Hodge. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Charlotte Fund at Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church in memory of Lydia.
