We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2020, at the age of 88, James Loyd Maines of Bluff City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferd Maines and Leota Maines Webster; and his siblings, Bernice Howell, Charles Maines and Doc Maines.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Woods Maines; his son James Douglas Maines (Doug) of Bluff City; his grandsons, James Douglas Maines II (Lisa) of Lebanon, VA and Dalton Maines of Bluff City; his great grandchildren, Conner of Bluff City, Keegan Maines of Bluff City and Caleb Howard of Lebanon, VA; his siblings, Louise Koontz (Joe) of Piney Flats, TN, Roy Maines (Joyce) of Bluff City and Bud Maines (Phyllis) of Bluff City; and his sister-in-law Glendora Scalf Maines of Bluff City.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sullivan County is mandating that all citizens who live in or visit wear masks or facial coverings in public.
