He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Earnest and Theo Isabella Boling Embree; his wife Linda Sue Ladd Embree; his children, Tracy Michelle Embree Boling and Craig Embree (Lisa Baker Embree); his grandsons, Garrett Embree and Heath Boling; and his brothers, Ronnie (Nancy Lark Embree), Ernie (Paula Carr Embree) and Jeff Embree (Lisa Brummett).

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent to Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
