She was predeceased by: her parent Reuben Hicks; her husband Teddy Simcox; and her daughter Tiffany Simcox. She is survived by: her parent Mary Elizabeth Hampton Hicks; her daughters, Julie Glover (Shannon) and Sherry Hicks (Chris); her grandchildren, Emily Fleenor (Ryan), Gage Hicks, Luke Hicks, Grace Glover, Elijah Hicks and Shea Hicks; her great grandchild June Ilene; and her sister Sue Dilliard. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
