He is survived by: his wife Mary "Ann" Hockman Boyd; his children, Bruce Boyd (Penny) and Judy Faye Leipfert; his grandchildren, Audrey Carpenter (Andrew), Lindsey Boyd and Johnny Richardson (Stephanie); and his sisters, Margaret Atkins (Emel) and Nancy Johnston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
