She was predeceased by: her parent Verna Booher Hunsucker; her husband John William "J. W." Taylor; her grandson Jonathan Taylor; and her siblings, Cecil Hunsucker, James Hunsucker and Mary Pearl Millhorn.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Sams (Ron), Patsy Sproles (Norman), John Wayne Taylor (Sandra) and Fredna Lawson (Steve); her grandchildren, Beth, Ron, Danielle, Anthony, Jessica and Aaron; and her sisters, Linda Lucas and Sandra Monger. She is also survived by special friends that called her "second mom"; and several nieces and nephews.
