He is survived by: his wife Alice Vest Jones; his daughter Debbie Abbott (Lance); his grandchildren, Brandon Abbott (Tori) and Adrienne Meade (Celeste); his daughter Becky Zinnanti (Chet); his brother Phillip Jones (Annie); and his nephews, Phil (Jen), Tim (Lisa) and Brian Jones (Alison).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church (1727 Chinquapin Grove Rd, Bluff City, TN 37618). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Monte Vista Memorial Park (1900 E Oakland Ave, Johnson City, TN 37601).
