He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph "Joe"; his brother-in-law Auburn L. Morrell, Jr.; and his brother Carl C. Spangler. He is survived by: his parent Annabell Wilson Spangler; his daughter Carla Smith (Jeff); his sister Evelyn Morrell; his sister-in-law Frances Spangler; and his close friends, Lawrence Winegar, Zane Brooks and Jesse Patrick. He is also survived by five nieces; several great nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church or charity of choice. 5 Well, this is something I never thought would happen.
