He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Salley and Bertie Salley; and his siblings, Mazie Kendrick and David Salley. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Ruth Salley; his children, Danny Salley (Betty), Chris Salley (Carol), Brenda Jones, Lisa Smith (Richard) and Sandy Taylor (Herbie); his grandchildren, Angie, Amber, Mendy and Ron; his great grandchildren, Ty, Keesha, Summer, Ryker, Clay and Brooklyn; his great great grandchild Waylon; and his siblings, Betty Streck (Dean) and Ed Salley (Margaret Taylor). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
