She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Collins and Willie Eaton Collins; her husband Jim; her sister Sarah Sue Collins Cleghorn; and her son William Hunt.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Lou Collins Holbert; her children, Rev. James Hunt, Jr. (Cindy) of McMinnville, TN, Barbara Slay (Dan) of Peachtree Corners, GA and Carol (Patrick); her grandchildren, Danal and Kyle Slay; and also, Josh, Lauren, Jake Hunt, Camden and Rowan. She is also survived by Neighbors; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home and Memorial Park (2630 TN-75, Blountville, TN 37617). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
