She is survived by: her husband Stephen "Bubba" Bussey; her son Logan Sammons; her daughter-in-law Christina; her grandchildren, Remington and Paisley Sammons; her brother Pete Chambliss (Shirley); and her caregiver Susan Hoelscher (Dave).
After a life filled with hard work, love, and service to others, she asked that instead of flowers or visitation, people spread joy in her memory.
