He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lou Sumpter; his sisters, Nina Burton of Franklin, IN and Shirley Salling; his brother-in-law Fred of Duffield, VA; his sister Alberta Taylor; his brother-in-law Dee Taylor of Science Hill, KY; his children, Teresa McEntyre of Calhoun, GA, Jennifer Rutherford Ulmer (Rick) of Bristol, TN, Tim Jasper (Patricia) of Kingsport, TN and Patricia Shelton (Willie) of Blountville, TN; and his grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Lauren, Kasa, Jacob, Ezekiel and Eli. He is also survived by twelve beautiful great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
