He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Kennedy, Sr. and Alberta Hamlin Kennedy; his wife Judith V. Kennedy; and his brothers, Dorald E. Kennedy and Gene Randolph Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Kennedy (Jennifer), Tammy Kennedy and Angela Kennedy; his grandchildren, Darby Dunford (Trevor Martin), Austin Asher (Amber Henson), Hayden Kennedy and Emma Kennedy; his great grandchildren, John Poe and Waylen Clark; and his sisters, Rowena Brown (Donnie) and Carole Ann Kennedy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Legion Post #3/265.
